OLD TOWN APARTMENTS
Istanbul is the most populated city of Turkey. It’s located on both sides of the Bosphorus strait, which makes it the only city extending to two continents. Few cities in the world have been through so many changes as Istanbul has during its long history, most importantly, between the years 330 and 1922 it was the capital of the Roman Empire, the Byzantine Empire, the Latin Empire and the Ottoman Empire.
Istanbul has always then been a cultural ethnic and cultural melting pot. You will find the many mosques, churches, synagogues and historical palaces worth visiting.
The old town is mainly located by the strait, however, the modern part of the city as much bigger and it’s on both sides (European and Asian). Among the tourist attractions you will find Aya Sofia, Sarnyer, Eyup and Taksim in the European side, and Beykoz, Uskudar, Moda and Adalar on the Asian side. As the capital of two of the most powerful Empires of history, this cosmopolitan city was by XVI century probably the most civilized and multicultural city on Earth. Istanbul is home to extraordinary monuments: palaces, churches and a horse racetrack which dates back to byzantine times; the mosques of Sultanahmet and Suleymaniye; the Palace of Topkap, base of the Ottoman Empire, and others.
Not only for tourism but for business as well, this is a very popular destination. The international interest for this city as a conference center has been increasing around three conference and exhibition centers: The Conference Valley, The Business & Financial District and The Airport & Exhibition District.
You will find a great choice for accommodation in our apartments in this wonderful city. Traveling for business or pleasure, with friends or by yourself, we’ll probably have something that suites your needs and will help you enjoy your stay in the multicultural Istanbul.
